On my car it used to be the door pins vibrating on the door cards, and the 3rd brake light cover, pissed me off a treat.
You can cure this by cutting the door pins off and taking the cover off the brake light.
also curable by turning your sub down
its your whole car lol
gotta sound proof my good man
50p on the 3rd brake light.
Psalm 95:7 WATP, My new satnav, the TimTim, can take me anywhere but Europe... show databases; drop database 106owners.co.uk;
mines normally the 3rd brake light cover, bit of bluetac against the window sorts it out. or the handle for the sunroof rattles on mine, but i dont think its on right.
and its not loud enough if you can still hear rattles![]()
door pins and 3rd brake light, gotta be one of the two
also maybe doorcards, interior light unit, cd's in glovebox?, change in the ashtray bit? anything that isnt bolted on tight rattles lol
am i the only one whos said body panels?
you gotta soundproof the whole boot area and doors as a minimum if you want to stop rattles
also: all the things the posted above me has stated![]()
thanks alot already taken 3rd light thingy off lol, erm ashley p what have you used to sound proof it? cheers

i used that mate.. theres enough there for one layer of the boot floor / boot lid, and enough to do front doors too
however, you could try this:
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/seco...lk-p-5503.html
there is more for your money, the product it self isnt quite as good allthough im sure 1 layer will help a hell of a lot, but because theres twice as much in the package you can double layer everywhere
if your budget increases a little, you could get this:

its a lot more money, but considerd one of the best materials.. enough to do two layers in boot and doors, and it should completly seal off any chance of rattles
sound proofing is highly reccomended because not only does it stop rattles, but your sub / speakers will sound a lot better because the sound waves are not being lost outside the car,
the second pack i showed you in the link would be the one id go for, 2 layers in your car would stop all rattles and bass responce will be highly increased
hope that helps mate
its a 106 mate, they rattle like mad, wen u turn my sub up and stand outside the car it jus rattles like mad, am jus gonna rip all the old sound proofing out and redo it all with some dynamat or w.e its called lol
10mm foam sheets are your friend , pull all the plastic out the back and put that behind it and put back on, do the same with the door cards interior light housing 3rd break light also the black cover on the inside of the boot that hides ur rear whiper motor and ur rear bumper probably vibrates alot too
