    Default boot install

    what you think of my boot install i know the logo needs moving to the left a bit more but ill do that 2 moz when i shape it a bit better and get it ready for paint.

    i am thinking of painting the box black and them haveing the logo red what you think

    Looks alright, I think it would look better covered in something though than painted.

    Also, is the sub in it's own sealed compartment? Or is it just one big box?

    sub is on its own mate the box is in two bit inside. i was going to cover it but i aint no good with carpet or wood work really so would probley be really bad

    Similar to my new 1

    Forgot to add.. Will be a bitch to paint, mdf absorbs paint, you wanna fibreglass it first if your going to paint it.

    Carpet it, its very easy to do, 1 role of carpet, a crafting knife and some spray glue, so easy mate, was easier than i though

    i think it would look good painted but me bro and every1 on here seems to think it would look better in carpet so i dont know now i think its going to have to come down to a vote lol

    going to get a better aub and amp soon tho going to get the rockford fosgate comp stuff like 1500watt rms and 3000watt peak then there will be some real bass.

    i dont need the boot for anything else mate and i was going to take the rear seat out and have it all as an install but changed my mind for the mo

    You can paint it (if you choose of course!). All you have to do is seal the mdf first. This can easily be achieved with a coat or two of pva glue. Once its all dry, give it a quick sand then paint as normal.

    Yeah it probably will. Plus you wont have to worry about the finish getting chipped or scratched. Only thing is you will probably loose a lot of the detail of the nice logo you made (depending on how thick the carpet is of course!).

    yer there is that but i was thinking if i put it in carpet i could do away with the logo i made and put a different colour bit in in the shape of the logo but that might look crap i aint sure anymore

    Could carpet the box and paint the existing logo in a contrasting colour (red as you mentioned). That would look cool and be a damn sight easier! :-)
