    Default Andy's 1.0i? - Lenny

    Forum ID - 106_Andy

    Car - 1995 Peugeot 106 xn

    The day i bought it:

So far this is what ive done/had done:
*New Lamda Sensor, I had this replaced cause it was extremly rough when idleing and kangerooing all the time, Nothing Happend.
*Replaced a gasket (gasgit what ever) in the exhaust, the old one was a bodgy job, bit of carboard which was obviouslly burnt away...that sorted the idleing/kangerooing.
    *X2 Diagnosis tests....
*£170 garage work for the above which coulda cost £5 or less.
*Rewired ISO connectors, i got pissed off with the adapters for the mk1's so i took it all out and rewired a new ISO connector.
    *Alpine 6x9's In parcel shelf

Right some pics. This is the front wing, its crumpled so hopefully im gonna get that replaced sometime soon. the other side is a replacement so its more orangy for some reason...

Debadged one side of the boot, but im not too keen on it cause its faded and i think the S1's look better with the badges so im gonna get a new set.

    6x9's

The interior which i think is great. No radio, ran out of money before the garage bills hit me so i wont be able to get one for a while.

    *Lots of images!

    Spoiler on:

Bit of a mess so the credit card came out and sorted it all.

Time for a radio: Alpine CDE-9881R with ipod lead:

Worked first time around, thank god after my dodgy rewiring.
    Front speakers need replacing tho.

307 Jet washers, Angles a little low but they still chuck a whole lot more water on the screen.
    Anyway, just some random pics:
    College: (mines on the left)

    Hills:

    Frost:

Also bought some new spark plugs but havent got the spanner bit at the moment lol.

Well time for a little update:

Yes Lenny is 5ft off the floor, The Exhuast cracked in half today, sounds like a right monster!
I was going to replaced the downpipe soon but now the garage are going to do it because it really needs to be replaced, new cat too.
It cracked after the CAT because it was poorly welded to the end section... just a matter of time.
Going into the garage tomorrow, £205 lighter it should be a nice little quiet car...

You can see it hanging nice and lower than what it should be there...
The car is actually quite clean underneeth, no rust or shit that shouldnt be there so im gonna get a nice tub of Hamerite to make it cleaner

I have ordered some new stuff for it but 3 weeks later im still waiting for some reason... 106parts need a boot up their ass.

Just for the hell of it i bought som fog lamps.
Rallye James helped me fit them, ive only just wired them up so they work proper now, Having phone problems so i cant get today's pics up But heres from last week:

    You get the idea
They're really fun to rag around the lanes at night with, you got enough light with them, if you want to really see then wack on full beams as well...

Piss easy to wire up, just used the old fag lighter powersupply as i dont have one, 30A fuse was strong enough to turn them on and not blow. Ran the cable inside the left wing because i couldnt find the bung in the firewall...

Im knackered, only been fitting lights took me all day lol!

    Time for a minor update...

Got some mudflaps through the post the other day, so a trip to james' house to get them shaped and a ride in the rallye was in order...

Today i trial fitted one of them to the front, heres how it went:

Firstly, i went to halfords to redem a captial bond thingy and get some axel stands, went home and got lenny up off of his feet.

Managed to kinda fit one, Snapped 3 drill bits in the process and it started to drizzle a bit, so put away all teh tools etc, and it stopped raining...

Got the camera out and decided to have a nosy underneeth, i aint actually seen under it properlly before and i was plesentlly surprised i suppose.

The driveshafts & wishbones seemed to be alright, looked pretty new, i have no records of what was done before i bought it, there was no leaks or shit anywhere...

Here you can see the hole in my gearbox, if you look inside you can see the flywheel which is pretty scary, just needs a couple of stones, gonna see if i can get a plate or something welded onto that... (Ignore the holes in the zorst... need to get some bolts tightened under there too...)

This was probablly the most surprising bit, look at the condition of the rear beam, i thought it was gonna be a right state but seen as ive never touched it, it seems to be in pretty good nick!

Anyway, ill update tomorrow if i manage to fit these fucking flaps...

Oh yeah, i ordered a new nissens radiator for no reason, it was half price so what the hell eh?

Mudflaps finally on, left the hub caps off and went for a little drive before it started snowing.

Its probablly best not to take this thread seriouslly from here on in... its only gonna get more marmite'y... Only a certian rallye_james knows the true wtf? of whats going on... (i think )

its mot is only a month away so im getting a shed load of parts that the garage can fit and service at the same time

    Crappy Update:

Sorted my indicator problem, i think, the bulb had kinda snapped off of its surroundings in the holder, so i got a saxo indicator unit and managed to bodge the bulb holder into it

Gave the interior a nice hoover out as it was covered in dog hair and stones, it was like a beach in there!

Was flooring it along a nice little lane today, outta the blue a speed bump, smack!
dont think any damage was done, suspension seems alright, it just seems to sit lower on one side all the time... as in before this happened, might just be my driveway...

while i was at the scrappy there was a nice looking TU3 (1.4) sat on the floor, i asked how much (as you do) sadly it was kinda outta my budget lol!

Im rather suspisious (sp?) of my head gasket at the moment, the radiator seems to had oil in the top, if it does go ill get a new engine (not telling what (not a valver though))

still waiting on some more marmite, suposed to be here by now, it is coming from hongkong though...

ps: Sorry for the essay, just little things that i keep forgetting to post and bullshit that lenny seems to deal me with.
