Default My Cherry Red 106 GTi £1200 ono

    Cherry Red GTi

    General:

-1998 Cherry Red Peugeot 106 GTi
    -R72 MKH (Personal plate, included)
    -111,070
    -6 Months tax
    -10 Months MOT

    Engine:

    -95k 106 GTi engine
-Fully rebuilt head, head gasket, cambelt etc.
    -1.1 Gearbox (Shorter Ratio)
    -Janspeed 4-2-1 Manifold
    -Green Enclosed Induction Kit
-3" Peugeot Sport Group N Exhaust (Decat)

-(Recently had a brand new clutch (less than 300 miles), gearbox oil and engine oil change, and brand new radiator)

    Suspension/Brakes:

-Spax PSX adjustable shocks front and rear
    -Jamex 60mm lowering springs
    -Torsion bar lowered to suit
    -Upper and lower Strutbraces
-Standard GTi calipers with Mintex discs and pads

-(Recently had brand new brake discs and pads all round, brand new drivers side lower arm and drivers side wheel bearing)

    Wheels/Tyres:

-15" Citroen Saxo VTS alloys, sprayed black with a red lip
    -195/45/15 Yokohama S drives.

-(Recently had two brand new tyres at the front, and the rears have excellent tread)

    Exterior:

    -Rare Morrette headlight conversion
-The front badge has been sprayed Black
    -Debadged boot
-Bodywork in great condition with hardly and dents or scratches

-(Recently had the Morrettes professionally sprayed Gloss black)

    Interior:

    -Full GTi leathers, great condition!

    Bad Points:

Every car has bad points, mine is no exception and im going to be as honest as i can. Bodywork wise, the front end has some stonechips and wear as you would expect from a car this age. Also the front bumper has got a small crack in it and the drivers side arch has some chips out of it from when it fell off, both caused when i hit a rabbit! Mechanically, it crunches into second gear, might be the clutch, but it still goes into gear and drives etc, Finally, the manifold is blowing slightly from the bottom, i will supply the standard GTi manifold with the sale if required, or it could be patched up.

I thnk ive mentioned everything, if not feel free to contact me.

As ive said, its going to be sad to see this car go. It is great fun to drive, it handles well and its a quick one, let alone a certain head turner.

    £2500 ono

Ive also got a garage full of spares which will come with the car if you wanted. Standard lights, standard shocks (nearly brand new), starter motor, coilpacks etc etc my garage is full of 106 bits.

    Update.

Ive fitted two new droplinks, 2 new track rod ends, and a new driveshaft, which has stopped the knocking noise (it was a droplink). Its mechanically sound now.

Open to offers, or p/x after a quick sale

The current spec is exactly the same as before with the exception of Standard GTi Alloys, Standard Headlights, Standard Exhaust, and XSi interior. The supsension is still the same.

I havent got any pictures, its covered in snow at the minute. Heres a one of when i fitted the wheels just for memory sakes. Excuse it, its dirty.

Oh and the seats, dont look too different to GTi cloth, comfy as **** too!

Ill try get some pictures now, might be abit dark though.

The crunch, i cant describe it really. It goes into gear fine, just makes a grind noise like you havent pushed your clutch down far enough.

Here are some pictures, you will have to excuse the snow:

Just to clarify, same spec as above, BUT it now has - Standard GTi Alloys, Standard Headlights, Standard Exhaust, XSi Interior, Pipercross Filter, and the Upper strut brace is no longer on.

    £1200 ono.

Can't believe this is still forsale, the crunching actually sounds similar to the problems I had, when driving if you double clutch it it may be a problem with the pressure plate, not an expensive fix and double clutching will help a lot

wish I had the money I'd get this snapped straight up
