Chat room!

I did a bit of work last night and have installed a chatroom for everyone to use

I havent put a proper link in the top menu yet as I am going to run this room on a trial for 2 weeks

I am hoping it will keep the spam threads down to a minimum as you can now talk to others on the club through this room :)

I will in 2 weeks evaluate whether or not to keep it based on whether it has been abused or not!
I may also decide to make it a feature only useable by full paying members

But will work that out in 2 weeks

I dont think its a bad idea for it to be members only, if you look at the RR you cant do anything without membership, and here all but everything you can see if for free.

Secondly, if this wasnt working all the time, why not specify set days times where things go on in the chat room?

You have to stay active - or press refresh next to the bin icon

Thats a good idea having specific times for certain topics / debates for example.

Just another thought... If it does happen to stay and the link does get put at teh top... At the bottom of the Home page a list of who is in there whould be a good idea...

The main reason it is quiet is because to get to it you have to go throught thsi thread and also it's not advertised... Just thought I would post my thoughts on the matter!!!
