It's only once in a while these days i see a film that makes me wow. I find most new films pretty boring and generally only see a handfull of films each year i really really enjoy. dont get me wrong there are loads of decent films but they all seem to be a bit same old same old.
i started watching the prestige night before last at about 1amin bed, just expecting to see the first 10mins then fall asleep and watch the rest in the morning. well i could not turn it off and didnt untill the end! great acting, great direction, great storey and great twists in the plot all teh way through.
on the surface this film didnt appeal to me, i had it on my pile waiting to be watched for a good 6 months but never did, its about 2 magicians that are always trying to do better than the other one and is set in olden days (like i said it didnt really appeal to me!)
but TRUST me get this movie rented or whatever and watch it, im sure you will enjoy it and hope you were as hooked to it as i was.
