Rolling road day

Anyone up for this?

Basically, my car has done 166,000 miles, and I am curious to see how much power has been lost over the mileage its covered, so Ive decided, once the pennies are together, to get it rolling roaded. I then thought it might be a bit of a chuckle to get a few other heads together for a bit of a day out (as it were).

"Where?" you cry

"No idea" I reply. Nor do I know when.

No talk of "its only a 1.1" or suchlike. Mines an old knocker of a diesel, and you cant get much more lowly than that in the performance stakes.

So the idea is out, Suggestions as to when and where are welcomed. Preferably somewhere central to all :)

As for talking to Ste or anyone else, I posted to see if the interest was there. IF ive missed out on a point of protocol by not asking him first, please accept my apology, its just I thought it would make an amusing day for everyone.

ALso, as for joining the club properly, its mot/service time this week, but I will do soon :)

Indeed, although you would perhaps have to put 13s back on to make it a fair comparison incase the increased drag of your big rims holds the performance (being a relative term) back :)

Anyhoos, im happy as a pig in shit, as mines just gone through its MOT and all it needed was a brakepipe changing :D

Only one I know of is local to me, and thats Prestatyn in North Wales. Hardly central (but great for me as i can get up late :p :D )

dont know a price, i did but i forgotten haha, sure it was 35 squids for 3 runs in a 2 wheel drive car and 40 in a 4WD ...hmmmm edamski was with me so hel back me up on the price part. very reliable firm, in warrington in a place called irlam its called awesome GTI, some people may of heard of it. theyve had everything from a 50BHP mini upto a supercharged viper at 700BHP i think. just an idea dudes

Prestatyn was £30 a run with a minimum of 10 people when we did it with Cruise North Wales a few years ago. Theres also a place in Gresford by Wrexham that is supposed to be good, me, liam and a friends were goin to pop down there sometime soon :)
