HERE WE HAVE A GOLD 106 THAT STARTED OFF LIFE AS A 1.1 BUT HAS NOW HAD A 1.6 GTi ENGINE INSTALLED INTO IT. COULD BE SHOW CAR WITH A BIT OF TLC.
FULL ECCOSSE BODYKIT
16INCH OZ TITANS
MORRETTE HEAD LAMPS
QUAD REAR LIGHTS
LOWERED 40MM
M6 EVO MIRRORS
GTI BOOT SPOILER
GTI LEATHER SEATS
PANASONIC 6X9'S
PANASONIC HEAD UNIT
BAD POINT
BUSH MISSING FROM GEAR LINKAGE MOUNT.
THIS MEANS THERE IS A SLOP IN THE GEARS, NOTHING MAJOR AS I DO ROUND TRIPS OF 50-60 MILES PER DAY AND DRIVES THROUGH GEARS PERFECTLY, JUST NEVER HAD CHANCE TO REPLACE THE BUSH MYSELF. WOULD ONLY COST AROUND £30 TO REPAIR.
VERY GOOD LITTLE RUNNER, AND CHEAP INSURANCE WITH IT STILL BEING A 1.1 ON LOG BOOK.
THERE IS A BUMP ON THE BACK OF THE CAR THAT WILL NEED A REPAIR BUT AGAIN NOT GOT ROUND TO IT.

way over priced to be honest mate, you can pick up a really tidy gti with a few decent mods on it for that much!!

fact is though tho, it virtually is a gti, bar the rear axle and door cards, and the insurance is way lower than a gti, so if you go and buy a 106 gti with a few mods on for that price at say 17 or 18 years old your gonna pay through the roof on insurance, but not by buying this. i will lowewr to 2200 but thats lowest. alot of money has gone into building this car.

well the buyer has the chance to change the details. up to the person to this i have not been driving the car so no need to do so. true on the insurance part. would be void. but again at buyers discretion. would advise to do so but not for me to say.
just trying to get some offers, looking for a new project thats all.
any good offer thrown in will be considered.
swaps ect MAYBE.

and im sure the car in eastenders was actually a fiesta with go fast stripes but if ya cant tell the difference between a blue fiesta and a gold 106 then fair do's.

Unless you 'were' doing 50-60 miles a day, in which case you were still driving with basically no insurance. But you clearly stated in present tense that you do 50-60 miles a day in it.
But yeah, if you go down the road of extensively modding any little car, your never going to get back the money spent on it, unless its something like a classic mini. They seem to hold their value pretty well.
And there's no need for abusing other members mate.
It doesnt take an adult to be able to tell one that someones contradicted theirself.
