Guys/Gals
After a VERY late night last night (5am I finished) and some personal cost to myself, we are now rocking on a vbulletin forum
I think this feels a LOT better than the old forum, and will allow me to bolt on new features such as a garage where you can host pics and specs of your lovely cars :)
Please be gentle with the forum for a few days as it's been a lot of hard work to get all our old posts/threads/pms over and im not sure how it will behave for a while
If theres anything you notice thats weird, even images that dont look quite right PLEASE let me know by posting on here
Please also look in your control panel and update your profile, date of birth etc...
And also all avatars were lost in the move over but feel free to upload them again :)
I've kept the old forum up for a while so if theres anything that's been lost that was important let me know and i'll try to get it back :)

Just noticed that - it might just have to be something we put up with mate
It works fine on new posts - just the imported stuff has gone a bit weird

Took my time? You cheeky bastard
Look away now if techy stuff bores you
There is an import routine that convers simple machines forums into vbulletin - but it didn't work, loads of stuff got cocked up - about 2am I finally got all the data back in
Then had to recreate all the usergroups, then the permissions
Kinda wish I hadn't started it around 3am, but I didnt fancy sitting around my house on valentines night - so got busy :)

James, go to your CP options and enable all the coding for messages, then you can see the smileys.
OH, Fuzzy, I can't get the text in my sig smaller. It just shows the 'size' code instead.

Cheers for the support guys
The smilies thing is because this has a "quick reply" box
If you press the "go advanced" button you will get the full editor
Nath, I'll get the garage installed over the weekend :)

Is there any way of getting allerts when a pm arrives, as it used to on the old site. I will just get used to it though over time. Great new look to the forum anyway so it was worth the wait. Ive just got to get a new avatar now.

That's in the options - I just turned it on
Tick the box that says "popup when PM received" or something along those lines ;)
