The time has come to sell my beloved 106. As you can see I have cherished this car and it’s been fantastic. I have owned the car now for just over a year and enjoyed every minute of driving it. It has about 4 months tax and 10 months MOT. HPI clear and it has full service history and some receipts from the previous owner. As my dad’s a mechanic he has done everything needed himself.
It has 102k Miles on the clock which is just over average for the year of the car (Year 2000 “W” Reg) the general condition is brilliant, interior being pretty much mint as well. As you can see it has got a few nice but not over the top modifications. It recently had a whole brand new clutch fitted as well as a service not so long ago by my dad.
It has a full Gti body kit (comes standard) with the “quicksilver” interior, front splitter, rear diffuser, twin stainless steel back box, Debadged, M3 Mirrors, 15” Fox Evo 6 alloys (very expensive), Beat 500 head unit which plays DVD’s as well, Twin halo angel eyes, black rear Lexus lights, carbon fibre insert on boot badge, quicksilver sun strip, Momo Gear knob, Engine start button, Sparco seatbelt pads. The car has also been colour coded all the way around including the splitter, diffuser and mirrors. This was done by a professional and is not a Halfords can job.
Now to the bad bits, not many and nothing to worry about, there are a few stone chips here and there which is obviously expected, there is a mark around the driver’s door lock where someone tried to break in before I bought it. The boot is not in the best condition ever, only changed it as it had a spoiler on it, there’s a small dent in the centre of it and a few scratches up the side. There’s also a small rust patch by the passenger door in which the previous owner tried to paint over and it started flaking. The only 1 bit of damage I’ve done personally is a small crack in the front splitter. Apart from that it’s in excellent condition for its age! Also the central locking isn’t the best, sometimes it works other times it takes a few more clicks. May be just the batteries or due to the fact that the covers are missing on the key fob. Also if you wish the car to have the splitter and diffuser taken off I can get it done and they will be included in the sale for you to sell...
If any more information is needed or you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email or ring/text me. 07791314634 Many Thanks! :)
