West Midlands Meet - 23rd September 2007

OK GUYS......this is gonna be the first of many WMM's and its gonna be great, nearer the time we will arrange for either a decent camera or photographer to join us, so we can really get this a noticable event on 106owners.co.uk, This will be my first meet so please bear with me, and im sure if we all club together we can make it worthwhile!!!

The main purpose of this meet is to get to know each other, put names to faces (and cars.) Its a real ice breaker for newbies (who are definately all welcome) and just generally a good day out!

During the meet we can discuss and organise different types of future meets to thrill all the types of drivers, for example:

Drag racing - we need to find a nice strip that is safe and STRAIGHT lol
Cruise's - Not the best type of meet, but another chance for a cruise photo
PhotoMeets - Drive to a location (possibly more) and have a day speciically for photos. (this is where each members individual creativity can come out)
Treasure hunt - Takes more planning but is great fun. lol
Location Hunt - Teams drive to a given location as quick as they can, take a photo of them there and get back as quick as they can.
Rolling Road / Dyno Day - In process of being sorted, if you have connections or numbers then please pass them onto me so we can get it organised?Any other ideas are more than welcome, come on guys lets all pull together, lets make driving even MORE fun lol.

Ok guys as suggested in the other thread, i think we have all decided on our original suggestion, just ouside of birmingham.

The pub along the A38 by Fradley, about 20miles outside brum. Food is great and the prices are very good aswell.

Woz mate if u can get the name n postcode of the place for us, so all us SATNAV people can find it.

Also if we all swap and exchange msn addreses so we can arrange some convoys to there, just incase people can shy n dont wanna turn up on their own. (plus looks better if we roll in with a group of say 5 cars lol)

Ok mate, well im sure we all want to make a day of it, so how about we meet at the pub for 12:00 and go from there?

Please everyone make sure you can make it, this will be the first of many meets for the westmidlands, i have given you all plenty of time to arrange yourselves, its guna be a great day for us all. As i said its mainly for all of you to meet eachother and put names and faces to cars etc, and at least while we there we can arrange who lives where and what every one likes, i will be bringing my trusty laptop so i can store all the photos straight away and record who came and everything....

Everyone make sure u have my msn address (See my sig) contact me between now and the 23rd September to ensure you can all make it, also with n e suggestions on future meets and anything u wanna ask/say.

well i have just been on demon tweeks website and they sed they do meet days so they close a section of there car park off at there store just for meet wish i could come i ent gunna b passed by then make it january i will b passed by probs its proper shit

HEY GUYS...sorry i aint posted for a while, i have been to Tunisia for a couple of weeks but hey ho im back now...

OK guys, the current situation is...

This is the WEST MIDLANDS MEET - We meet at the Fradley Arms Pub, on the A38, for 12:00 midday. We all can arrange to get there in convoy or individually if desired. Once there, we can sit outside in te beer garden or inside - depending on weather. So fingers crossed it will be sunny, especially for photos etc.

Once we have everyone there, we can order drinks and/or food is desired, but please remember if you are drinking alcohol, behave yourself and obey the law. Remember guys this first meet is to break the ice with members, to put faces to names and cars etc. If we decide to i will have a few desinations all ready to go, i will try and think of a few so we have a nice choice. (any suggestions are more than welcome)

This is the Pub i have picked, nothing fancy but i tried to get it as central to us all as possible, i will re-arrange it if needs be for later meets.
