It looks good, but dont know if it will be very practical? might be a summer mod. What do you reckon?

Mine is de wipered but only because i bought the boot without a wiper. I haven`t come accross any downsides yet but i don`t travel on the motorway and i bet it could become a problem then if you need to look out the back. I suppose you could just remove the wiper arm and try it for a few weeks and if it doesn`t work out then just refit the wiper arm. De wipered and de locked is the way to go.

Mine is de-wipered and the rear window is tinted.
When it gets dirty I cant see much so use my mirrors more or wash the car more often. :)

yeh its a definite improvement on rear end looks.
reccommend covering the nut in wd40 the day before, mine was rust welded on, wouldnt budge even after wd, ended up crackin the wiper arm around the bolt and just pulled the whole spindle out.

I think im gonna do it nearer summer, the roads i drive on to col are a bitch for spray when they are wet. Quarry Lorries use them! Shyte gets everywhere! Clean your car at the weekend, dirty by monday night!

Use that!!!
Seriously
The rubber bungs - if you push them through you can open the boot with a coat hanger - major security issue
That ebay auction is the genuine pug screw in item from base model cars - and has a rubber seal to stop water leaking in!

Do want yours, which means mine is coming off, which means i get to see what its like de-wipered! an if i like it, ill keep it off! An if its not practical with it off, ill stick yours on! ;)
id say leave it on, i dont think they look bad at all and for practicaclity its a must have this time of year anyway.

Probably coz its an old car! Never noticed them.
I've got that one Fuzz.
It's about £3 for all 3 parts from Peugeot.
Wilson
09-01-2007, 12:38 PM
Does anyone have the part numer for it?
As its half the price direct from peugeot rather than getting it off ebay. :)

Yeah i think the roundy style makes it look dated ???
It would benefit from some new plates imo :)

I took mine off and ive neva missed it. It so much smoother when u step back and look at it. Complimented by a smoothed off boot lock its ace. You can stilll see out the rear window just needs an occasional wipe.
And all yor going to see when it is clean, is a faster, more powerful car about to rape past you

Its down to personal choice, but I agree with Mikey. I use it all the time too.
i might take mine off when the weather clears up a bit, spring sort of time and then back on for winter

If you're not sure whether you will miss it or not, just try driving around for a while without using it. If it annoys you, don't take it off! ;) I will do mine soon because it does look loads better. I don't care about the visibility :D
Visibility has never once been a problem for me without it.
I love it without, first thing I do to any car. :)
