I have searched and so far can't see anything similar. I put this up on my other club as it helped alot of people to decide on what to use.
Right fellow cleaning whores, Thought it might be a good idea to put what you all use(every step and product) that you would use before a show lets say.
Put your products and what colour car you use them on and if you feel like it why you use that particular product.
Car Colour - Dark Metallic green
Mine is-
1) Wash - Chem. Guys Maxi Suds II, Strong wash & Clearkote carwash - Yes all together, I mix my own formula out of these, the maxi suds is there to give the suds action, the Strong wash so it has some power, and the carwash as it is very slick so it lubricates nicely.
2) Polish - Poorboys Carnuba blue - I use the blue over normal Carnuba as it is specifically made for dark coloured cars.
3) Glaze - Clearkote Red Moose Glaze - I use this as my paint has a very definative flake in it, this product there for is to purely make the paint pop and dazzle under sunlight. Also the Red moose is made again for darker colours.
4) Sealent - Poorboys EX-P - I use this as it brings a long protection and also makes the paint look glossy as if it were glass.
5) Wax - Poorboys Nattys blue/ Victoria Concours - I use Natty's Blue as again it provides a good protection not as long as the EX-P but makes the paint feel smooth and is designed for dark colours. As for the concours I use this for the shows to help layer and spit shine over nattys to give the warmer look to the paint and to give it a great sparkle around the smooth edges.
6) Tyres & wheels - Supaguard Wheel Sealent/Meguiars Hot Shine - i use the supaguard to protect the wheels as it does the job and i get it at the best price(FREE), the meguiars not only blacks the tyre but also cleans the tyre wall of all impurities.
7) Trim - Autoglym Bumper care/ Sonus Tyre&Bumper Gel - The AG product does the job and is great at getting wax off the bump strips, the Sonus is a new one i'm trying out at the moment. It is good but too shiney for my liking.
8) Windows - AG Fast Glass - Great at what it does, so no need to change it.
Clay the car twice a year max, it never needs more than that.
I do have a machine Polisher but it won't get used that often so haven't mentioned it.
There that about covers it
You don't have to put as much detail in, but i thought as i requested this place may aswell put the effort in http://www.forum.frenchsportsclub.com/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif
