South West Meets - What's going on

After the meet at Bristol at the weekend, I have looked into dates that people would like to make more meets and come up with the following

August - Sunday 19th - Camborne, Cornwall

Miss Roxy is organizing this meet as I will be away for that weekend. Please see this thread (http://www.106owners.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=5485) for all details

September - Tuesday 18th - Exeter, Devon

This will be an evening meet so that anyone who works weekends has the chance to come along

There is also Trax (Silverstone), Eurofest (Saturday 8th, Castle Combe), Rally Day (Saturday 22nd, Castle Combe) and 106 Owners National Day (29th/30th, Shakespeare County Raceway, Warwickshire) on this month

October - Saturday 13th - Anniversarallye, Warwickshire (Rallye Register national day, but all 106's welcome). Will get more details if anyone is interested

Saturday 20th - Westbury, Wiltshire

I will set up a thread for this closer to the time. May be able to merge this with central counties region too

November - Saturday Rolling Road at Bridgwater, Somerset

I will give the place a call this weekend and get some prices. You can still come down and attend the meet if you don't want to go on the RR

Also I will look into the possibility of a track day at the Haynes circuit near Yeovil, likely to be early next year and maybe a joint meet with the Rallye Register to get the numbers up

Please reply to this thread if you are interested in any of the above so that I can get some rough numbers together

It's at Gaydon i believe. They are also using the 'Aston Martin' test track, but it's not as exciting as it sounds sadly.

My mate Miles D off the Rallye Register was mentioning the Rallye Anniversary to me the other day... Sounded good.. I'll definetely be up for attending that.. :)

All the other meets sound good James, but Cornwall & Exeter are a little too far for myself...

Am on holiday over the Trax & EuroFest weekends, but will definetely be at Rally Day & 106 Owners National Day.... :)

The South West region is a big area to cover, so not every meet can be held in one place... Makes sense to spread them out... :)

I went to one up there in December with PSOOC I think it was about £20 for a run? Not sure how many that was based on. They are good though. :)

There is a show on Beach lawns in Weston supermare on the 26th , but it needs to be pre booked for a stand, and its £5 per car .
Not sure if the interest will be about within the next week to collect money and get a form sent off .

It's at Gaydon Motor Heritage, but the 'Aston Martin' test facility is next door. Honestly though guys it isn't very exciting. Think mildly more so that a parade lap at Combe. The Gaydon museum is good though and worth going just for that.
