im attending and running for the first time, if anyone would like to join me and meet up let us know is this thread

i would think so, i know its a gti club thing which i aint wi but i looked at site and said gti run what ya brung too, but there'll be other makes and models too as always

Yeah just found the site, it does say hothatches and modifieds so I would pressume that any model would be accepted.

Am going to move to the relevant regions events.

hmmmmm may well pop up to this for a few runs


should have been running with carbs on the engine for over a week before this if all goes well so id be interested to see how the times have changed

when they say gti's - they actually mean vdubs

im off on the saturday, gti, hothatch and jap tuners day. the valvers 1st time out to play - yeay!!!

yeah i thought that when i saw it, but im sure it'll be ok to go still

yeah it will be. i made that mistake once and the place was full of beetles with subaru engines doing wheelies down the strip.
ive decided to skip it and do the saturday as with all the vdubs being there, they run the individual classes, then the vdubs. queing last time was over an hour between each run because of it.
i prefer it when its quiet ish and you can near enough just keep going all day.

im gonna be hoping for a sub 15.5 with just the carbs maybe break into the 14's when i cam it

if i can get a time in the 14's ill be extatic with what ill have spent to get there

stew was placed 2nd today in the pocket rockets with a low 15.2 and the winner was a 150BHP cammed vts with a high 15.1 cars got a 14 in it, but its getting the grip. only on cheap falcons, so either spinning off the line or bogging down by not spinning!!! plus, stew seems to think that 3rd gear in my car is where 5th gear is!!! lol

oh well, see what i can get out of it tomorrow...
