195/ 40 17`s

Has anyone actually tried any for clearance on a 106 yet, as im tempted to get some new wheels and use them to help get better clearance. 205`s fit though but 195`s should be even better, they are not cheap enough yet for me to buy some just to try. I cut the arches back and fitted 215/ 35 18`s for a few days so the arches are sorted. Ive just got to sort the ride height out first.

if 215s fit then surely 195s should fit fine

215`s fit but full lock is non existent, and i dont really want it to be un safe. I think though that trying them might be the easiest way of finding out.
