Hi people i have a 1200watt amp which is mosfet:confused: and bridgible and 2 channel. I was running two subs which was easier to do, buh now i only have one and was wondering how do i bridge the amp so all power goes to sub.

On the other hand with the other channel (one powering sub) can i power my
6x9's(:rolleyes:Iknow previous owner) If so how would Ido this I.e. how would i wire it.
Hope people can help,cheers jack

I'd just take the 6x9's out if there on your back shelf. Subs and 6x9's don't work well together :(

On my amp, which is a 4 channel one, i have 4 pairs of terminals. One pair says front left +- and front right +-, and the other pair say rear left -+ and rear right +-. On my amp i bridge between the front left - to the front right + as that is what it say to do in the manual, and it also has bridge written above the connections. The rear ones say the same. I will get some pics in the daylight if you need, but basically mine is a bridgeable one but it is done internally, and im sure some out there need bridging wires added. I run 1 sub and a pair of 6x9`s in my car, but the layout is different to what you probably have as i have no rear seats and the 6x9`s are behind the front seats so the sub doesn`t interfere with them.

Cheers mat106 once again lol (2 problems solved in an hour).
With my amp i have 2 terminals so i usually ran each sub of each terminal. So i thought with bridging i would be able to just put both wires together if u get me i.e. positve from terminal 1+2 and negative from terminal 1+2 then connect this wire to my sub, but it didnt work just kept on tripping my amp :-(

That is the best pic i can get of it, as you can see it is the pair on the right that run the sub, the left ones run the 6x9`s.
