i wanted to compromise price and quality and i'm not botrhered about having the loudest system in the street, just something a little better than the factory standard.

i replaced the 15rms factory front speakers (there are no rears) with some 2 way 35 rms coaxial speakers and tthey do a great job for what i want at a decent price, however i want slightly more bass (even after adjusting the head unit settings) so i have looked into getting some 6x9's for the back, just to run from the head unit to help with the bass and the general sound improvement. Is this the right thing do do or am i wasting my time? all i want is a bit more bass without the expense of amps and subs and i am prepared to compromise some quality for that cause anything above the factory standard is ok............

6x9s are fine in that aspect of things, a sub will obviously give you better bass though and you can get all in one boxes etc for fairly cheap, just a case of routing the wires down the car.

what sort of amp would you recommend if i was to get one, just like one that will do the job at a low price

best to just get 1 thats all in one as suggested above for what your looking for. The fli ones are pretty good for the money and do the job.
