bought a road angel sat nav 6000 couple of months ago. £200 from halfords. awesome cos speed camera detection, stationary and mobile. and a sat nav. in one. also tells you speed and a map as you go along etc. but the sat nav is piss annoying. gets you 90% of the way then tells you to turn back. so tried to take it back today and cos ive registered it they wont take it back. bastards. so gunna reload it all. update the software and hope it gets better. if not. im going to the road angel headquaters based at silverstone to get a replacement.
anyone recommened another good sat nav if all goes wrong? just want UK, and speed camera detection

I use a tomtom v2 with www.pocketgpsworld.com speed camera detection (far better than the tomtom database)

Also you can add things like, supermarkets, fastfood places and loads of other points (see http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=POIs - free login required)

Gets me from A to B and fairly speedy if route has to change.

Only bad point is, it wont warn you if your entering a rough area lol

My Garmin is excellent using the same website. Its a nuvi 510 I think.

cool. well they wont take it back so got to update it. and may buy some new software
