ok,
So im getting 15'' alloys soon, and want to lower the car to suit, if i buy these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=160082273631&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=006 ,will i be able to change the springs if i want it even lower? ie. if i get the 35mm shocks and springs, can i get 40 or 45 mm springs put on, with the same shocks? Also, are Gmax any good? and is this a good price???
cheers all!
Matt
Gmax arn't too good at all mate.
I'd go for eibach or spax springs mate.

iv herd of some of the cheeper spring makes snapping etc in the past.
like Dan swears by, eibach, which i have on mine and have been brilliant. or H&R are really good aswell.
why not do the springs/torsion bar now. then upgrade the shocks in a few months or so...
that way you get want you want and dont cut corners. ;)

i totally disagree, g-max is alright i wouldn't have bought it otherwise! My ex's car handles like nothing else and he's got a g-max kit.... it's how you drive it that makes them snap and it can happen on whatever springs you use. I think it's just horror stories about them snapping, i've never heard of it happening when the person has been driving it sensibly and they've been properly fitted.

g max int that bad, they may not be the best but stil better than standard shocks n springs , my friends got a kit on his clio n that handles pretty well
They do there job yes but they are cheap for a reason.
They do there job, which is whats expected but they dont do it to the point eibach or spax do.
It's like buying gola trainers, they do there job of making you be able to walk on stones etc and keep your feet warm etc but they just arnt the same quality of nike.
