cheers people, just done t today with a jigsaw, turned out good (and quick) also what would you recomend covering the speakers with so they cnt bee seen? i hear acoustic cloth works well, anyone tried it? also how would i go about attaching it to my parcel shelf properly?

Also put a strip of wood along the bottom of the shelf as most 6x9`s are heavy and the shelf will eventually sag. If you are handy with the jigsaw, cut some 6x9 rings out of some wood and mount the speakers below the level of the shelf and put acoustic carpet over the top, glue it to the shelf then no one will suspect them being there. The original shelf strings might not be strong enough to support the weight when open.
