Grey bonnet?

You've probably all seen that I was thinking of painting my wheels white - but I've just come up with a new idea and want to get some opinions (and maybe a photoshop if anyone can be bothered)

I can get hold of a cheap matt dark grey bonnet in mint condition (as mine is COVERED in stone chips) so I was thinking of: dark grey bonnet and dark grey wheels to match and also dark grey fog light grills. What do you think?

How does £35 sound for a mint bonnet?

Found an old photoshop - now imagine it with the bonnet badge, standard plates, non-carbon fibre bonnet and grey painted mirror covers 8)

hmm im not keen, but i like my rallyes to look erm rallye so im bias :P

could be pulled off i spose but its one of them things where p/s dont do it justice. needs to be seen me thinks :)

Think im gona say no too.
If the bonnet is cheap and you can afford to play around abit, then spray it and fit it yourself.
Show us, And if its gay and you yourself dont like it....Ebay it ;)

Well - I went against everyone's advice as I wanted to be different. IMO, the new bonnet is a bargain at £35 and if I get bored of it, I will spray it white

All I need now is a Rallye decal - pics uploading atm, will be up soon :)

I quite like it. especially if you can get some black and white rallye decal to go on the bonnet.

It's like Marmite - love it or hate it. I think it will look good once the wheels are done to match 8)

Oh Yeah. Very nice. Dont get the full effect without the grey rims and accsesories.

I like it, but, i think it would suit a gti or lower spec 106 rather than a rallye. I think rallyes should be kept pure, 100%, rallye. But at the end of the day, your decision, an you had the balls to go ahead, congrats! ;D ;D

I've given in to the criticism and am going back to white bonnet and white wheels. Someone offered me a decent price on the black one and I could do with the money really :-\ Had a comment from someone today who'd seen it from a distance and thought it was carbon fibre 8)
