I am f**cked off with emptying water out of my rear/driverside light cluster and I am having to keep changing brake lights as a result of the water.

I have cleaned the seals and sealing face, there is no damage to either as face as far as I can see, but yet it still bloody leaks.

Any Ideas? ???

Had a similar problem with mine - just did them up VERY tight and it doesn't happen anymore :) Must admit they are a completely useless design

They shouldn't break off, you just might not be able to undo them again after! :D

I cant seem to get mine off... Need to replace a break light and reverse light. The two screws on the top come out OK, but there must be something I'm missing. Maybe a release lever on the inside?

That's just because lexus lights are poor quality :( Get some standards ;)

Once the 2 screws are removed, the lense un hooks at the bottom, it may be easier to remove the whole lamp as it gets tight with the bumper fitted. The series 2 lamps need to be removed as the bulb holders clip in from the back, but your series 1 is generally easier to do.

Sussed it in the end: must have been hit by someone in a (car?) park. The rear bumper now prevents removal of the offside lens cover. The near side comes off ok (tried for experiment to see how the f**cker works). Anyway, despite not being able to remove the lens, I had access to the lights and a small twist got them working... Must have been knocked out of place on the impact.

All the same, I've put Debbs on the insurance, so I no longer have access to the car!!

ITM (in the meantime) Got a Honda Civic (05) and BMW 3 series (05) to play around with innit...

Dominic.

I should follow that up with: Still the PugBug is the best car in the city for getting around - if I ever get it back!!
