South Wales Meet?.....

Right guys Id LOVE to have some south wales regional events and leaders
BUT to do this we need to have a meet to begin with!

so ANYONE in the south wales area that would like to come to a 106 owners club meet please put your name below

Regional leader would be great to keep on top of the meets etc.
Just because there are only a few people willing to travel for a meet doesnt mean something couldnt be organised where more than one region get together.

if there was a meet no further west than newport I might be able to come to the odd meet. dont want to become like a dedicated member of this group because i wouldnt come to the majority of meets, just see me as a possibility. Just over the border about 15 miles into Engerland.

I am looking at track days but the cost is huge!

Well Llandow's prices are something like...


Mon & Fri £1500.00


Tues, Wed & Thurs £1200.00



Sat £2000.00




Sun £3000.00



which kinda proves it - but if you have 10 cars on a tuesday or something that's £120 each. and it goes down from there.

If you wanted to get more people on track and make it even cheaper, a lot of the RR guys from South Wales and South West go to Llandow quite often and would probably come along. I would too if it wasn't too expensive :)

Llandow's a nice little track - not as good as Pembrey though! It's basically a 1 mile oval with a bus stop chicane at the end.

I'm down there this saturday for a sprint.

i'll deffo be up for a few meets! i'm from swansea so it's pretty much central in the south wales area...track day...gimme a couple of months to get my 1.4 in and run it in, and i'll be up for one!!

By the sounds of things, It's going to be an idea to get on Llandow sooner than later - there was talk of a housing development going up there on top of the track soon on Saturday...

ill come...as long as i can get my licence by then =]...i could also bring a few friends from my place (depending when and their not all 106 owners) but it would bring the track day price down
