front DRIVING Lights

ok i've heard that this was an option on the 106 to have the front driving lights be changed to 'FRONT FOG LIGHTS' can anyone let me kow if they have done this mod!

from what i have been told all thats needed is the stork for the lights to have the front fog option and that the wiring in the engine bay needs changing?

can anyone tell me if they have made this mod or where i am expected to find the other loom???? ie the ones for the FOG lights?

would greatly appreciate it as i hate the hole only come on in full driving lamps mode!

Why would you want them on at other times?

Its possible to do but not recommended

They are long distance spot lights and they come on when they are supposed to
Fog lights are frosted so they dont dazzle other drivers

So they wouldnt work in the fog

And driving with fog or spot lights on when not in fog or on full beam is illegal - and can dazzle other drivers and cause accidents

Wich is why i got a £30 ticket for having mine on when iw as leaving a cruise.

well as there driving lamps i want to be able to but the lights on when i want and not just on full beam! there is a few back country roads around leicester, some verygood ones but you dont always need full beam on and haveing the driving lights on would just be a little help!

so im guessing this isn't a mod that ppl have done!

A) You're on a backroad....'oh its dark'.....flick switch to full beam.....car comes.....your lights are too bright.....flick down to normal

Either way you need to flick a switch and turn them off when other drivers come, plus fogs along wont be as bright as fullbeam, I dont see the point??

It is just the stalk chap think some of the lower model s2s had em, as did some 306's and vtr vts/s you need to make sure you get the model with the same connnector type block.

Seriously mate NO

Its illegal and doesnt make sense

If the roads are dark put your full beam on - if they dont need full beam then you dont need driving lights

The driving lights are a long distance non-dipped light
If you had them on when a car was coming you would dazzle them and cause an accident!!
