How expensive!!

Im trying to get the paint for my car for the colour coding!

I got 2 prices and am waiting to hear back from pug!

Wilco - £12.99 for a 400ml spray!
Halfrauds - £13.99 for a 300ml spray!

Why does it cost so much!!!!!

Any ideas where i can get it from cheaper?

if u wanna do it properly oyuve got to pay, whats the point spending a few pounds less for a paint that dusnt match, will look shite, and be basically unuseable?

No, quality costs money, no point skimpering on paint because the finish will look awful otherwise!

more than 250ml if you do it properly, you need primer too...or are you missing that part coz you cant afford it:rolleyes:

They come in 150ml cans.

Think I bought 2 to do my mirrors.

yeah thourght they were abit smaller.

but the one can is plenty to do mirror caps.

There not mirror caps though are they. The whole mirror is black in s1's like his, you will need 2 cans.

dont do the whole mirror tho that will look shit, tape off the 'cap' bit, just in the middle and spray that.

You will have to mask off the rest apart from the cap bit.

Make sure you do this properly, good prep is the key.

1 can is fine for doing them.

lol yea...

as said tho its hard to get mint, but as long as you take your time and get a neat fresh masking tape line around the 'cap' then leave it a good few hours before removing the tape you should be fine.

On te tal of mirror caps I have almost done... Laquer goes on 2mz and then they are back on teh car!!!

Pair of those took bout 1 n a bit of the 250ml cans with two coats on each. They are slightly bigger than the standard pug ones tho, and I did the baseplates 2.

luke looks like urs need laquering from here they dont just shine like ur door panel does....?
