Hmmm...Is this meant to happen??

Well today me and a mate replaced my fucked passneger side draveshaft. Its been knocking for 8 months! lol and i snapped up a new shaft for £15 on ebay the other week.

Anyway, we were under the car expecting the oil to piss out onto my driveway but.......Nothing came out ???

If the one side was jacked up then it can happen, as the oil is sitting on the other side. The oil level is usually just above the lower edge of the shaft, so if its jacked up a bit it won`t pour out.

hey nath, i think i may be having that same knocking sound, its very annoying when i corner etc it clunks lol. has the new driveshaft solved the problem??

No that shouldnt happen - you have no gearbox oil

Fuzz we replenished her good n proper mate.

And yes the new driveshaft has made it feel like a new car almost! Its really nice to drive now.
Before i had to hold off the acceleration when turning right :(
