where to mount tweeters?!

Hiya peeps need ideas where to mount tweeters in the front dun reli wana loose control of my mirrors from the inside. duno wt to do any1 gt any gs sugestios???

I ran my wires up the pillar cover and the tweeters poke out of the top.

As above ^^ above ya seat belt clip on pillar... subtle yet effective.

Out of the way in the parcel shelf where you have pull the levers to drop ya rear seats down...:cool:

Why woud you want your tweeters 2 metres behind you :confused:

idealley they should be around the area of the corner of you dash or halfway up your a-pillars in line with your ears

Yeah mine are in the a- pillar, just poke out of the top.

if u bought a component kit it shud cum with a few different mountin options.bits of casin ,plastic clips etc.and as dargs said they shud b ideally higher up in ur car ,corner of dash or in the pillars r the best spots.

corners of the windscreen on the dash if you know what i mean, my brother had them there in his scooby an it sounded amazin :)

At the back of the dash is a good place, the screen reflects the sound ;)

i was thikning of having them in the corners of the dash, my bro had them there in his old car, sounded good. Just gotta get round to fitting them lol

Attached using velcro pads with each part of the velcro pads having a sticky uinderside to attach to the dash and to the tweeter!!!

have you got electric mirrors? mine are fitted neatly into the black plastic triangle that is in the corner of my window and door panel ... you dont even notice them there and they are perfect height.

i gt manual 1s :( so cant have thm in there. what i was thinking off was, ive seen pillar guage mounts they be any gd???

Have a look in Dargs' install blog - he has them half way up the A pillars, that looks best IMO ;)

yeah wizza thats where i had mine, it sounded good there, but the best place is the top corner of the windscreen on the pillar
