4X250 means you can run 4 speakers off it at 250 watts.
dont run 6x9s and a sub off one amp it dosent work.
the 4 channel amp you got could run the 6x9s and a set of nice door speakers.
then get a mono block amp for your sub.;)

when you say connect the two i presume you mean the input from head unit to amp. it depends on how many rca outlets your headunit has.
if it has one then you want some rca splitters (can get these from halfrauds)
if you have more then you could run 2 sets of rca's (one for each amp)
bridging is where you use two channels on an amp for one component.;)
say you have a 2 channel amp and you want to run one sub
you use the negative on channel1 and the positive on channel 2. this gives you the full power of that amp to the sub if you diddnt do this you would only get half the stated power because its split in to two channels:)

rca leads go from the back of the head unit to the amp. they carry the sound:)
the rca leads are basicly phono leads.
if you look on the back of your head unit you will see how many rca outputs it has.;)
if you only have one dont worry just get some splitters and then you can run 2 amps off one set of rca's;) .
just go to any car audio shop and ask for some rca splitters when you see them it will all make sence;) .

If you have to run splitters you may need an isolater in each line after the splitter to prevent the amps feeding back into each other as well

Thats why i'm here :p :D Nah, I only remembered cos I had this prob in my old car, only 1 RCA and the HU couldn't kick out enough power to run the signal to two beefy amps and I had horrendus feedback. Fixed once I put a baby powered amp (the ones u buy as project kits) into the RCA line and turned the gain on it up a little. Cured my alternator whine as well cos I was pushing a big enough signal through the lines to drown out the noise :D

yea my mate had that whine and he wacked a surpressor behind the head unit. sorted it.

I put 1 on the alternator itself, before i twigged it was the HU struggling. Helped a little, so I left it on. Only figured it was the HU cos 1 day 1 of the amps didn't power up (had popped a fuse for some reason) and the whine totally disappeared. When I powered up either amp on its own it was fine, but powered up 2gether caused the whine to come back, so i figured it had to be the HU struggling.
