Ite guys this is my sub install! any1 got installs. atm its got a jbl 600 watt amp with jbl 1000 sub, also a sony 6 disc cd changer. jbl 300 watt 6x9s also jbl 120watt speakers in the rear ad sony door speakers up front.

y u gettin a power cap m8?? ur lights dimming wen the bass kicks or out?? if not then theres no need for 1 at all if ur only runin 1 amp!!

Nah the stuff in that is the same as what I have... Expect that is a four channel amp... I would go for it if I were you... I wish I had seen it sooner... Here is mine...

no they dont give it a boost ..not in the sense ur prob thinkin of .lol
they only store power for when its needed so if ur alternator and battery are strugglin to supply the power to the amp for the big bass drops ,then the power cap kicks in and usues the power its stored up to send it to the amp so it doesnt struggle or drain ur battery..u wont get any extra boost as such,asin louder music or mor bass or nethin like that.thats why i said it isnt needed unless ur lights are dimming etc or u have mor than one amp.

Nos bottle, looks tidy mate, but please wack a jl sub and genesis amp in, to do it justice.

volt meter or something? spend a bit more and get some sick oscilliscope to show the waves that the bass is producing?

who knows, just my thoughts.

well theres so many around its hard to say wots the best bcoz sumat new comes out everyday,and not everything is to same peoples tatse either.

its all about money really, but the best are as follows,


SUBS - Jl audio, Rainbow, Hertz, Diamond, Mtx, Focal
AMPS - Jl audio, diamond, genesis, focal, audison and lanzar are pretty good too.
If the above are out of your price range, rockford fosgate and infinity are excellent for the money, and also the alpine range, but from type R upwards are good too.

As for the nos bottle, your probably wouldnt get one that small, but you can get fire extinguishers that look like nos bottles.
