1999 rover 200 £300

Hey guys, heres a 1999 british racing green rver 214 16v. the car has been in the family since it was 6 months old, it has 94k on the clock, and mot till jan 09
it is one of the last of the 200 models, and was laden with extra kit, such as cd player, leather interior, foglights and alloy wheels.
the car has been serviced every 8-10 k without fail
unfortunatley. car is showing signs that the head gaskets on its way out, hasnt blown yet (no mayonaise, smoke etc) but has started using coolant etc. I have a folder full of reciepts and bills.
I would keep the car and sort it out myself, but unfortunatley dont have time to sort thisout.

to be honest mate i dont think you will sell it on here. try www.mg-rover.org (http://www.mg-rover.org) , which is a mg-rover forum. plenty of people on there wqanting cars as projects.

if its showing signs put some k seal or barrs radweld in and drive home (months) with out worry,

this is a steal and headgasket not hard job really and £300 for a 99 plate car that have performace of a vtr and more space better ride and dare i say better handeling.

so far ive had 2x 200 rovers a 600 and an 820

do you have any pics? how much tax has it got? will it survive a journey to gloucester if i bought it?
