more power from remap

hi just cammed my gti with 708s it goes better power cums in hard about 5 grand can it be made better at lower revs will i notice much power difference with a remap

i think the remap will add a slight increase in power but the main reason for the remap is the get it all running smoothly fuel wise etc etc :)

the purpose of a remap is to make the car run smooth like smithy sed but it also alows the tourque to be deliverd better across the range my peak tourque is at 5225rpm but the car just starts to pull hard from 4000rpm

get it mapped worth the money massive difference

A remap will adjust your fueling map, making the most of any mods: filter, exhaust, cams etc, correcting the fueling to get optimum AFR throughout the rev and load zones. The ignition map is also adjusted, basicaly the more you advance the ignition the more power you gain, but can only be advanced up to the point of detonation, at which point the ignition needs to be retarded a few degrees. There's a bit more to it but thats basically it in a nutshell :)

I work at Superchips in buckingham, if you do book your car in and get a list of mods for me to show the files guys I'm sure they could do you a map to suit. I will also pester the boss to get you some sorta forum discount. Also if you don't like it for what ever reason with in 7 days of fitting we can return your car to org and you can have your money back minus fitting.
