its been like this a few weeks now and i cant put my finger on it, thought i'd throw it to you guys before i spend a fortune on it

has anyone ever felt like their cams are 'sticking'? difficult to explain but when you accekerate the car just sorta hangs back then all of a sudden just picks up and goes, not at any specific rpm just when it decides to, one minute its fine the next its hesitating to hell,
i thought it might have been something to do with the chip having been taken off for now and the knackered exhaust but surely it wouldnt do this?
plugs are clean, although when the rocker covers came off to be sprayed the crap sealent pug supplied to re fit was crap and they blew up shoving oil down into the plug bores thats all sorted now though and clean.
anyone got any ideas? in general the car's running sweet as a nut it just isnt being what she is..

i've probably confused everyone cause i'm well confused myself but anyone able to shed any light?

cheers for taking the time guys
kelly
