could be heater matrix bud or just a door seal or sunroof seal
have a look at my Quiksilver No. 2 progress blog and I had a similar problem should give u an indication of the problem.
I've sorted the problem the other day with a second hand seal.

cool thanks any idea about the oil temp?
there could be a blockage in one of the pipes somewhere so have a look or it could be the thermostat itself playing up.

I have both temp senors that i replaced on my GTi - Dont think they were actually faulty.
(temp sensor 1 - on top of rad - ECU)
(temp sensor 2 - on side of engine - dials)

Probably heater matrix - take a look under the bonnet and see if theres any coolant left in the system. could try putting a non staining dye in there, see if it comes into the cabin. If engine isn't getting cooled properly then the oil temperature will increase as well as water as it's doing more of the cooling work. (presuming the heater matrix has pegged it)

I know i only just got my PUG 106 GTI but as far as i know the sunroofs on them comanly leak so try tipping water on the roof and rub your finger around the edge of your sunroof (inside obviously) to see if it leaks
