Quicksilver convert to GTi, STUCK!

I'm stuck! cant get the fuel pump to prime when i put ignition on, and when i try starting it the starter motors clicking, can anyone help?:confused:

i helped my mate do an engine swap on his MR2 the engine wont start because of the imobiliser... has your car got one??

theres a ground next the the full pump that must be 100% grounded for it to work.
and ther should be 3 wires that go the starter motor, ones a negitive that just grounds out, the other is positive, and the last is a positive to the selenoid to engage the starter with that flywheel iirc

EDIT: if its got an imboiliser, the fuel pump should still prime, the plugs just wont fire
