I'm looking in to buying a manifold in the near future, I was going to go for a raceland manifold through kam racing, £94+vat with the discount through this site.

I've mentioned it to a few people and most of them have told me to avoid the raceland manifolds as they've had problems fitting them or they've blown the welds.

What are your thoughts, good or bad?

:o

EDIT - If anyone knows where I can get a better quality manifold at a good price please post the link

I've got a Raceland and got no complaints with it. It was abit of a pain to fit around the oil filter, and doing up the bolts after but with plenty of time and patience it's not a problem.

Even Kam would agree that there are not huge performance gains from the cheap Raceland and the more expensive Supersprint.

I'm going for the Supersprint purely because of the good fitment and build quality. Not saying the Raceland is poor build quality though.

Any idea how different the gains are between the raceland & supersprint?

How much could I pick a supersprint manifold up for? The cheapest I can find is £240 :(

I dont think there is a difference in gains, but I could be wrong! Yeah, Supersprints aren't cheap but I suppose you get what you pay for. Don't get me wrong Racelands are good but Supersprint wins it for me. I'm buying mine off Kam-racing there going for £320 but i've got my other bits off Kam-racing and i'll be sticking with them as there deliveries are really quick and staff are helpful.

Racelands are cheap cos they're quite hard to fit, but they still give the same gains as others, and considering how much cheaper they are to buy, the fitting problems aint a problem really.
