Hey all... bought gti kit for my 1.1 last night already same colour as mine and a set of 15s.. in total and being delivered its been rather cheap :D i bought off a lad on the forum 'mygti01' but hes only been on the forum for about a week he says to sell his stuff seems like a sound guy but now am starting to shit my pants first time bought off forum .. any1 else bought off him .. and is the deal to good to be true?

Originaly he was gonna send it next day because he had it already boxed up but i insisted i paid with paypal because it offers me some security so he says hell have to get the money in his acc and then book courier it was 300 ish mate inc deliv.. i have his home adress but i forgot to ask for landline number and to ring him make sure he exists so im kinda shitting a brick now

Doesnt seem like a bad price. Not like you paid £200 for it all. Then it would definately be a bit dodgy

Atleast you paid with paypal
Give it another week and try and get in contact with him. Then take action, try and withdraw your payment (if he doesnt get in contact within the next week)

Personally i wouldnt buy anything directly via PM

If they make a for sale thread, then yes ok buy from them. But if they approach you via PM and sell you via PM then i would be very cautious.
I have only bought one thing from here, and that was VIA PM but i checked that the guy posted, how long he had been around and found that he made a for sale thread with the item i was buying.
