fuel dial; completely dead

hey,
this is my first post :)

Ive only had my 106 for about 4weeks now, of which i have only also had my license, as ive just passed :)

Its a P reg 1.1 XN, and after literally a day of driving it, the fuel dial refused to work, even though I had just put some petrol in the tank.

Ive tried filling it to the top several times, also running it empty and filling it up, but that doesn't do anything. There is no red light either, at all, ever :mad:

Is there anything i can do before taking it to a specialist?

Welcome :)

Could be either the fuel sender in the tank, or the dial itself. The fact the light doesnt come on sounds like the dial might be dead. Thats just a guess though

I dont know how to find out which though. Maybe someone else does.

ah ok thanks, is the dial easy enough to replace?
