AHHHHH wooo right, let's get this party staaarted, my lord am i in the right mood for a rant :D:D

todays topic - people who dont appreciate **** ALL.

I have a very good friend, infact he is one of my best friends... who believe it or not has an 06 plate mini as his first car.

ive known him for years now and i know how he treats all his posessions - shit, to put it bluntly.

His family got the car this time last year... and when he passed in december the car had an already staggering 8,000 miles on it... it is now 6 months later and it has 26,000 miles on the clock, thats correct.... TWENTY SIX THOUSAND.... you may be wondering what am i ranting about??...

this car is so abused it nearly make me want to cry whenever i see the poor thing. im one for taking care of cars and it's kind of upsetting to see such a nice new car in a bad shape.

too cut a very long story short -

red lined in ever gear
driven around like a 50 quid banger (i kid you not)
no coolant.
never checked the oil
no brake pads.
dented worse than my 14 year old rallye.
interior never been cleaned
Im the only person whos ever washed it!
mirror is now hanging off.

its disgusting. i dont see how you can mistreat something which has cost so much money and most 17 year olds wouldnt even dream of owning. having a 15k car as your first doesnt happen everday.

I always mention to him, how can u treat it so bad and he just replies with 'theres nothing wrong with it' LOL.

Some people have so little respect for stuff it really pisssess me off!

And theres people out there with first cars which arent expensive in the slightest but take pride in them, cleaning them weekly etc etc, and actually deserve a decent car!

oops, this rant is really going no where but i needed to let off some steam :D:D

RESPECT WHAT YOU HAVE PEOPLE!

on a second note - all you car boffins, he still claims this car is in mint con. And because its an 06 plate, and new, he thinks nothing can go wrong with it.... how long would you give it before it seizes up?

it literally has no coolant, very little oil and is ragged to fcuk on a daily basis....

I hate people like that! There are loads near me!

A girl in my year got a Corsa as her first car, but didn't like it, so got a black 206, didn't like that either, so got a 206 Quiksilver, but didn't like that, now she has a 206cc, but doesn't like that either and wants a new car! She has been driving 11 monoths now I think! No job, parents pay for everything :o Oh and to boot she is so stuck up! But FIT as, so I still would lol

And another boy got a clio! Boasts all day about his parents being rich etcetcetc. Put his clio through a fence the other day, and it will never be driven on the road again - but he doesn't care - Daddy is going to buy him a new car! WANKER

I know a lad like that around here.

He blew the engine on his brand new Fiesta (redlining everywhere) so he drove around in daddys 3lt Jag.

Now he's got a brand new C2 VTS.

I know a few people like that.

Its not just cars though its everything.

Im one of those people that everything i buy i like to keep looking new.
I cant stand anything old and worn out.

So i take pride in everything i own.

And i know people who jus treat everything like shit. And never appreciate how much you have helped them out!

If you lend them something they loose it or break it.

There normaly the people youd never lend money to:p

As well for these rich kids in mommmy and daddys cars.
Its cause theyve always had everything bought for them and never learnt the value of money!

1) he's a fcuking idiot!
2)Prob is it's a BMW engine which is a fine piece of kit and very tough so ironically it will prob go for quite a while before it pops. But everything will wear a lot lot faster. His 26k engine prob looks like a 60k or more on the internals.
3) I noticed u also said he has no brake pads on it, how well does it stop? and are the disc's shagged yet? He'll learn the value of maintenance when something lets go in the brake system and he ends up hitting the wall/hedge/lampost. Just pray ure not in the car/in the way when it does.

I h8 idiots like this.

One of my friends went clubbing and decided to drive home pissed as ****, clever girl. Anyway, she drove into a phonebox and police got her, now lost her license. Does she care, hell no. Her Dad bought the cart, paid for her court fees and is going to buy her a new car when she leaves. Shes loaded, but moans about her problems all the time. God, its annoying.

Right... i'm wading in with my opinion....

I've had 3 cars and i'm 18, they've all been 2001 or newer, BUT here's the big thing, i bought them all myself, i personally don't think you can appreciate the value unless you've bought it yourself. For this reason i don't blame him. He clearly doesn't know the value of money, if his parent's suddenly turned round and said, you treat your car like crap and we're taking it off you, now you have to buy your own form of transport then i'm sure he'd grow up and realise that you need to treat them with respect.

I blame the parents, they are the one who mould the kids into taking things like that for granted.

there is this one bloke at college, he's 19 at the most, comes in a different car every day (BMW m3, BMW 5series M-tec! big f*k off merc etc etc) and cruises round the college grounds all day long!!!! pisses me off!

he thinks people think its his car, but its obvious it belongs to mummy and daddy! when he did get his own car (range rover sport!! birthday present!) he got bored a month later, sold it and got a scooby! Grrrr...!!!!

its not a long story lol, u may just think im being picky, but when you see him doing the same thing every day, in a car i wont be able to afford until im 25! trust me, it would get to you!! lol

thats me done, im goin out :)

Lacey is right, when you earn the money you appreciate it more. My Quiksilver represents many hours stuck on a checkout at Sainsburys, but they were worth it! :)

Not everyone that gets their car bought for them is like that! My Dad bought me my car!

Since then he has not spent a penny on it, it is all up to me and the wages I get from shelf stacking! I hate my job, but it keeps my car running :D

i hate people like this. this one kid has crashed 2 fiestas, both fully modded (badly) so daddy bought him a civic lsi 1.5, then he blew up that engine redlinging everywhere and trying to 'drift'. then his 4th car mum and dad bought him was a 1997 impreza 2litre turbo, seriously, he didnt crash it or break it but drove without insruance for 2 months before he could afford it, then swapped it for a nissan 200sx. pisses me off when i worked my ass off as a student and saved £2000 in 6 months to buy my GTi and insure it (with some other savings from my last job). some people get away with murder. good rant. thank you!
