strange locks

i have an n reg 106 xl

the keys i have fit the ignition, the central locking works fine, but i have no way of manually locking and unlocking the doors, is there someway to disable the door locks? or is there some other way to fix it?

You can take the door cards off, there are about 9 screws (Torx head) that hold them on and then just give it a tug to pop it off.

Central locking solenoids can just be unplugged and removed if you want. You might need a little torch (I used one of those LED keyring lights) to find the connectors and where the metal rod attaches to the lock mech. If you want you could remove the little push button from the top of the door, once you look around inside the door it's quite simple. Theres a black plastic cover that you unclip to remove the connecting rod.

The lockset could be replaced but are hideously expensive for what they are.
