There are about 5 studs onto the head that you need to remove the nuts from.

2 bolts underneath at the back, am sure you can see them if ya lean over the engine once the induction kits removed from the throttle body...

Can't remember what they're connected to tho

What ya messin about with now ekg???

the car is running abit rough on idle the revs keep dropping down every few seconds. It sounds like an air leak or something maybe a sensor? any ideas?

will be on the back of the throttle body IIFC fella.

when you get it off give it a clean with some carb/injector cleaner from halfords :)

Map sensor all connected ok? You should hear it leaking if there is a leak

all sensors are clean, no electrical fault codes from diag machine, put in new spark plugs, intake cleaner and it is still idling lumpy! Anyone had this problem before??

You defo sure it's an air leak coz 106's idle lumpy anyways, they're just shit. Only in warm weather that mine rocks like a V8 at traffic lights...

It's an unsolved mystery, people like fuzzy etc has spent ££s tryin to fix it with all the different sensors n that...

Mine doesn't drop below 1000rpm tho

only just below 1000 revs but its only started recently. really pissin me off:mad:

Could it be the lambda sensor? I mite have damaged it when i was putting my new manifold on.

Shouldn't be, that would just make the engine management light come on pal. It'd be as if your cars de-catted and the lambda sensors plugged off...

No harm in tryin to reset the ecu tho if it is...

Leave your battery unconnected for half hour then try it then...

swapped the lamda sensor with another one. That hasnt changed anything either! is there anything else I can try?

Right . . .as well as all the above things I have know changed the map sensor and still the pug is not right.

it only starts idling poorly when it gets abit warmer. But when its cold it sometimes loses power and feels like its being held back. When its warm it drives fine with no loss of p[ower at all.

Could it be a sticky valve? Please help
