Xsi / Rallye Head

If you were to put a rallye or Xsi head on a 1.1 would it firstly fit, I beleive the rally head does, and with the better cam would there be any performance increase if coupled with other mods breathing/exhaust etc?

I'm just expanding from the other thread if Unreal gets >75Bhp with just a Manifold, Decat exhaust and Air filter then changing the head if possible coupled with the other mods could see 80+ Bhp from a 1.1 which would be nice.

I also heard foxy say someone near him has a 90Bhp 1.1, but he isn't on the forums and we don't know the spec, anyways I'm intrigued and any comment/help/suggestions would be appreciated.

just get a Cam from an XSI or s2 Rally. or S2 Rallye.. and its the same affect. there are only slight differences between the rallye head and the standard head so u wont gain anything.. except if u were going to port and polish as the s2 rallye head can be opend up more without going porus

It was just that a guy on here seanbeast. Bought cams for his 1.1 but the bearings are too small thats all. So if I was to purchase an XSi or Rallye possibly vtr/Xs head and get it ported and polished and skimmed etc it would improve a little with other mods.

i have a Rally head partway through Ported and polished.. atm will be selling it for £200 once Skimmed. with a rally cam for that then would be your answer.

Technically though it should work as there are no sensors that cannot be changed to the ones you currently have as far as im aware. there is the fact though wether it would work on SPI. im not ur man to ask on that but i would guess yess if u sorted the sensor issues out

a cam out of a xsi/rallye will not fit a 1.1 as the cam bearing is bigger

yes but it wont be running hi comp pistons like the xsi and rallye engins do mate

some guy near me has a 1.1 with a cam, it's nippy for a 1.1 I've heard.

will prob be a silvertop 1.1 mate, a bloke near to me ran a vtr cam in a 1.1 and it improved the powerband
