is it true that the air intake on 1.1s is a venturi so it is downsizing air flow. technically couldnt i take this pipe off and run a bigger cold a feed pipe

u sure could budddy n get a good apnnel filter in the standard air box would make a difference!

You can, 70mm drain pipe fits a treat. I did this + replaced standard filter. Lots more noise but don't expect it to be quicker.
