what seems to be a restrictor in the cold air feed pipe. (the manufacturers). the pipe starts off wide but then goes to around 2.5cm wide, hence why i think its a restrictor

anyways ive taken it off and replaced the pipe, anyone else found this with theirs?

yes i think most 8v TU engines have these.

i just took the whole airbox off and shoved a bit of foam where the airbox used to join under the little black plastic thing (top hat) that is secured to the engine throttle body by a jubillee clip.

along with a decat you could really hear the induction on my lightweight 1 litre (950) ax. im sure its quicker than than a lot of 1.1s round here. it only weighs about 680 kg.

and thats lighter than a mini!

ive used sum "dyson" type piping with abit of tape for now lol, it doesnt need to be perfect anyways, as air will still be drawn in by them. yeah its improved abit more top end power :)

all little things make a difference overall!
