hi my gti went to the garage as the wheel bearing had gone witch the ecu noticed threw the abs sensor with resulted in it bein put in to limp mode know its fixed my car only revs up to 6000 and it use to go up to 7400 any ideas on y this is thanks alot rich.:mad:

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few mins and putting in back on again to reset the ecu?

i discontedted it for like 60 seconds i will try longer lol but i dont hink that will work i thought maybe throttle positon sensor thanks rich

plugged her in to the computer and found that it was the crank sensor aka engine speed sensor. Cheers Rich:)
