Its definately an engine mount. I go through one of these every 6 months.
Last time I took it to a garage even they did not notice it, wasnt until they gave it back and I whinged that they had a better look and found ti!

When a piece of my fan broke, my car vibrated like a pneumatic drill when the fan kicked in. Just a piece of the fan itself. Scary though! Check that :)

if an engine mount has given up, maybe its putting a bit of strain on the throttle cable causing it to be a bit higher in revs. just geuss

my car vibrates sometimes at traffic lights but it's very suttle. Do u think that's engine mount too ?

I couldnt be too sure fella, if its very subtle then maybe one is on the way out. It was always pretty easy to tell when mine go (I think I should get uprated ones, as I go through as many as I do gearboxes) Theres usually a big knock/bump and then a severe vibration, which at stand still will sound aweful.

What he said. :)

First time one of mine went I got scared. Then got it fixed then a few week later it went again (sheer diesel torque:cool:) and I just carried on driving it when I needed to, until it got fixed. :o :)

What you describe is pretty much identical to when the drivers side oil filled mount went, the rpm's when the vibrations were worse seemed to change from week to week betwwen 1-2k

Uprated engine mounts might be stronger/tougher but with these qualities they also transfer more engine vibrations through the chassis.. kinda defeats the object a bit.. lol
