it happened the other day... so i charged the battery up and it worked.. but its brand new battery.. and wen i went to start it after tht. it wud struggle.. now its gone again.. dnt get it ill have 2 check the battery out2mro then

Sounds like you have a short somewhere, if it keep draining and you need to recharge it.

do you have any subs/amps in your car? they are prone to draining if you dont fit them correctly

check your interior light aswell, if thats sticking on that will also drain batter fast

well if you have a multi meter put it on your batter set it to the battery voltage find out if its dropping voltage and keep pulling fusses out one at a time and put them back in and keep checking your voltage to find out when it stays at one certian voltage this should do the trick if you have any thing thats draining it

Have you had or checked your alternator?
There could be a problem with recharging your battery whilst driving. Or you could be draining the battery with neons,lights,sub etc.

clean alll the battery terminals...especially the power cable to the starter and the earth to the car...mine had this problem...bought new battery+starter then realised it was because the terminals were so dirty.....doh!

i was just about to post boot light lmao i had same problem i think theres a square plastic plate missing off the end of my boot light switch.

Ok i really havent read this thread much but this is what i did in the same situation

Engine off, Unplug the Positive, get a light bulb with a positive and negative wires. Attach the light bulb to the battery and the cars positive wire.
if the battery lights up, then the car is taking power from somewhere.

If not then i think its the alternators that arent charging your battery once you get going.
My dad said to me it takes about 20 minutes of driving before the battery has been charged up to its normal rate after starting the engine which takes alot of power.
So alot of short journeys does your car no good.

yep check your alternator, re-charge battery take it for an half hour drive, park up at home. Try starting your car an hour later.

broken and not charging your battery using stereo lights and brake lights and stuff will just drain your bat and the alternater isnt rechanging it as your driving

take it to a alternater shop and they have testin equipment

welll i found out tht wen i shut my boot the light would never turn bak of and it was boiling hot so i took the bulb out and now it starts every time and the battery has not drained once since i took it out
