I had a performance clutch fitted and have noticed that it is starting to slip, so I think it is the crank seal as the gearbox is full of oil! To check this I have to take off the gearbox, clutch and fly, so am gonna fit a light and balanced one at the same time. Does any one know of anywhere that do this? Ideally i'd like one off the shelf as its alot easier! I know demon tweaks do one but its about £450. Bit more than I planned to spend!

just a note but check if its your crank seal or your gearbox input shaft... it doesnt take much oil to escape for your clutch to slip yet your gearbox oil level to stay good.
look under the car and see if there is oil in the bell housing and then see if there is oil behind your flywheel (between the engine and flywheel) if there is oil behind the flywheel then its defo the crank seal but if there is none there yet the bell housing inside is all slimy then you know your gearbox input seal has gone. id get a new input seal and do that too even if it is the crank seal as they are cheap as chips and easy to replace while you have it apart though :)

Had a quote from demon tweeks and a helix one which ways 2.9 kilos is £285 plus vat! :(
Spoken to the garage and they think it is probably the input seal for the driveshaft!
Things are never a simple fix! Lol!
Thanks for all the advise!
QEP do one for less than that, Ive enquired about it.
Bout £120 iirc
