Whats the best gearbox?

Just blown 2nd gear out again so i need a new box whats the best to go for ? and will a vtr one fit or does it need to be a gti or vts box? Please help.:confused:

this has been covered a million times. Use the search function or the thread called 'THE COMPLETE GEARBOX GUIDE'

Diesel = best top end speed, 1.3 rallye = best acceleration.
