We are technically covered under East Anglia, but thats a HUGE area, and distance is a real problem for a lot of people I think!

Exactly.. We need something for our 3 areas. Between us we cover alot of ground, and we need someone to cover us and arrange meets in alternate areas.
Although i don't know how many of us there are... Even so, we still need some meets!!.

What we could do, is have 1 section covering Beds, Herts and Bucks. Then in that section, a separate section for Hertfordshire, Beds and Bucks. The regional leader could designate 'county leaders' or summat to organise meets in each county, and then the regional leader could arrange meets for all 3 areas etc.

The heirarchy would look like this:

Regional Leader: xxxxx

County Leader for Hertfordshire: xxxxx
County Leader for Bedfordshire: xxxxx
County Leader for Buckinghamshire: xxxxx

The regional leader could be one of the county leaders too, depending which county he came from etc!

Nah, if you can put an induction kit on, then do it, its much MUCH better LOL.

Even if you don't tell them and somethin does happen, the insurance company doesn't check things like that. All they're interested in is brakes and tyres. They don't tend to check other bits.
Things like induction kits aren't like turbo's or engine conversions, they wouldn't bother with induction kits.

I had alloys on my last car when it was written off, they didn't know about them, and they paid out for them anyway!!..

Although, sayin that it's down to you if they won't pay out for things like wheels etc, but they'll pretty much always pay out for the car at standard value anyway.
I spoke to an inspector once, he said that he checks tyre tread, brakes and other wheel related bits, i.e steering, brake pipes, and obviously the damage, and thats it.
Unless he's told to look at certain other things by the insurance company then he don't bother.
At the end of the day, they make millions from all us insurance payers, so givin out £1000 here n there doesn't even notice in their companies.

It don't get much cheaper... Well i spose it depends where you live.
I'm 25, got 2 years no claims, 1 previous claim for fire/write-off, and it costs me £900 for mine!
Obviously you haven't got the claim, but still, insurance is gonna start gettin more expensive gradually i reckon.

Definately! It's just a case of gettin it organised. We been tryin to sort out a couple of area organisers to sort out meets.
Keep an eye on the meet sections, hopefully it'll be sorted out soon..

are all down as part of central counties with oxfordshire which really isnt a massive region i know alot of you guys down there dont like travelling too far but i'm sure you can all sort things out and alternate meets to the different counties etc
